{pretty, happy, funny, real} for 5 January, 2012

{pretty} While the oldest 5 were recently in Mexico with my husband, I took the three youngest to a botanical theme park called Gilroy Gardens. Their circus trees are quite pretty. 

{happy} Happily riding the caterpillar, which ran in a bumpy circle around an apple core.

{funny} Gilroy hosts the annual Garlic Festival, and yes, that ride is spinning garlics. Here's a tidbit of info:

{real} Mighty Joe's a reluctant little man. NO WAY would he ride the horses on the merry-go-round. I'll sit right here thank-you-very-much.
