Welcome to Preschoolers and Peace, a site I started after giving a little workshop on how to homeschool older kids with younger kids underfoot. This is the only way I've ever homeschooled, and so I've learned a lot of neat tricks along the way.

I also write and speak to (most frequently) women and play in the Pacific Ocean whenever possible.

My husband is a funny, happy, interesting guy who makes his living as a dentist. We've been married for 27 years and have 8 children. We didn't set out to have 8, but we are so glad we had each one!

Our eight kids are 25, 23, and 21-year-old men (plus two wives!), then 19, 17, and 15-year-old girls, and a two-man caboose of 11 and 10-year-old boys. Organized, aren't we?

I write a lot about finding my identity, acceptance, purpose, value, significance, and security in God through Jesus alone by grace through faith in Him, and I'm hoping you find that freedom, too.
